UCI's Greek Adviser
Brian T. Clarke
Brian joined the Dean of Students family in July 2007. As the Director of Greek Life, Brian advises the Panhellenic Association, Interfraternity Council, Order of Omega Greek Leadership Honor Society, Gamma Sigma Alpha National Academic Greek Honor Society, Rho Lambda National Leadership Recognition Society for Sorority Women and UC Irvine Greek Songfest. His responsibilities allow him to be a part of the biggest programs on campus and help coordinate events such as Shocktoberfest, Greek Songfest and Homecoming. Brian loves the spirit of the students that he collaborates with on major activities.
Brian received his Masters degree in College Student Affairs in 2007 from Eastern Illinois University and his Bachelors degree in Communication from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2003. Prior to beginning his masters program he worked for two years as Regional Director for Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. As a full-time traveling consultant, Brian assisted SigEp chapters in effective operations and chapter consultation. He also worked as a Graduate Intern for Greek Life at Miami University in Oxford, OH and held a Graduate Assistantship at the Counseling and Student Development Office at Eastern Illinois University.
Brian enjoys making a difference in the lives of the students at UC Irvine and helping them develop into good leaders and great people. In his free time, Brian likes to freestyle rap and attend Dodgers games. He also currently volunteers as an advisor for his fraternity at Cal Poly Pomona. Brian can also be seen on campus announcing Men’s Basketball and Women’s Soccer. Rip ‘Em Eaters!!
